As you might expect Helsinki has a large choice of hotels with high standards. The choice of different levels of hotels in the countryside is not so extensive. Some accommodation may close in the winter months so it wise to plan and book in advance. Staying in a “bear hide” and viewing the European Brown Bear in its own habitat in a remote forest should be a highlight on any itinerary. In winter delight with a stay in Rovaniemi and enjoy Santa Claus village.
