“The most enjoyable activity was definitely the husky safari up the mountain - it was amazing just to see the huskies doing what they very much enjoy - it was a privilege, the scenery up the mountains was second to none. It was everything we imagined and more.”
“Awesome package, had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!”

About Hurtigruten

The famous Norwegian Coastal Voyage journey offered by Hurtigruten is
often described as ‘the world’s most beautiful voyage’ and provides a
cruise for people who want to see more than just the sea. The ship travels
up and down the magnificent coastline of Norway from Bergen in the South
to Kirkenes in the North calling at 34 ports along the way, most never visited
by the larger cruise liners. There is no dressing for dinner and no fighting for
the Captain’s table – this journey is about immersing yourself in the heart of
the destinations culture.

Norway offers a voyage for all seasons. With endless days and endless
nights, each season casts its own distinctive spell on the Norwegian coastline
and each voyage presents a unique and ever-changing tapestry of awe-
inspiring grandeur. From the extremes of the Midnight Sun to the Polar Night,
from temperate southern seas to the harsh landscapes of the Arctic
north, the Hurtigruten journeys are
a dramatic fusion of light, landscapes and unforgettable experience.

These days, Hurtigruten has taken its coastal hugging philosophy further afield to
far-flung corners of the globe to destinations such as Antarctica, Greenland
and Spitsbergen. They are renowned for their comprehensive and adventurous
voyages to some of the most dramatic coastlines on the planet. These trips go
beyond the realms of conventional cruises, providing the best in specialist
knowledge and expertise on journeys that exceed expectations and provide an
opportunity to encounter environments, wildlife and people and the very ends of
the earth. From polar bear spotting and iceberg calving to whale watching and the
Northern Lights – these are true adventures that dreams are made of.

The Hurtigruten fleet consists of 14 purpose-built vessels that have been
specifically designed for the waters in which they operate. At any one time,
no fewer than 11 of these impressive ships ply the route along the Norwegian
Coast, affording a unique insight into the fascinating heart of these coastal
communities. The newest ship MS Fram has an ice classification and is
designed to sail in polar waters.
