Day 1 ALTA - HAMMERFEST
Arr. Alta by flight and connect with the airport bus to the center of Alta.
Overnight and breakfast at Thon Hotel Alta
Day 2 ALTA – MUSEUM – HAMMERFEST
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before you go and visit the Alta Museum and the Rock Carvings!

Bus from Alta to Hammerfest Dep. 14.20 Arr. 17.10*
(* airport bus that runs in conjunction with flights, in case the flight is not operating new time of departure from Alta is needed).
Departure from Alta bus terminal (bus terminal is located in the center – about 3 minutes’ walk from the hotel) Arrival at Hammerfest busstation(about 4 minutes walk to the hotel).

Hammerfest is the northern most city in the world! Visit the Royal and ancient polar bear society: To be a Membership of this exclusive and world famous society is available by payment of a one-off fee. The only criteria for joining are to have visited Hammerfest. Members receive a diploma, membership card, stickers, statues and the famous polar Bear pin in silver and enamel.

Day 3 HAMMERFEST – THE NORTH CAPE
Breakfast at the hotel, before departure from the pier. Ask reception for direction
to where the coastal steamer departs from, if you should need too. Hurtigruten arrives in Hammerfest at 05.15.

Arrive Honningsvåg and walk to your hotel for the night to see if early check in is possible.

Entrance at the North Cape plateau – Enjoy! North Cape is a monumental experience and offers a fascinating view from 307 meter above the North Atlantic Ocean, sometimes illuminated by the midnight sun. North Cape is something extraordinary - the climatic conditions, the dramatic cliff itself and the fact that one is located on the utmost point of Europe enhances the experience.

Day 5 KARASJOK
Day in Karasjok for activities – visit the Sami park called “Sapmi”
Sápmi Park presents the Sami culture and history in an enthralling, informative and entertaining way. The cultural park lies in the centre of arasjok, a Sami town of 3000 people. Karasjok, with its recognized Sami institutions and thriving Sami culture, is the ‘capital’ of the Sami people in Norway. Karasjok is a bilingual municipality where 90 % of the population speaks Sami. There are about 60000 reindeer grazing in the area throughout the autumn and winter. (entrance is not included).
